NYC Marathon Participants Invited to Try their Luck to Win All Expenses Paid Trip to Run in Belfast Marathon
Runners participating in the New York City Marathon will have the chance to win an all expenses paid trip to the Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon in May 2009, the world’s friendliest and fastest-growing international event, sponsored by Sport Northern Ireland. Race organizers are jetting to New York this Thursday to educate New York City runners about the Belfast Marathon for the first time at the NYC Marathon Health & Fitness Expo.
Visitors to the Belfast Marathon stand at the NYC Marathon Expo held in the Javits Center will be offered the chance to visit Northern Ireland’s capital city next year. Two lucky runners will be given free entry into the Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon, as well as return flights, courtesy of Aer Lingus, transfers from Dublin to Belfast, and accommodations at Belfast’s newest hotel, the Premier Inn.
Runners can visit the Belfast Marathon stand at the NYC Marathon Expo on:
- Thursday, October 30th 10:00am – 8:00pm
- Friday, October 31st 10:00 am – 8:00pm
- Saturday, November 1st 9:00am – 5:00pm
- The Javits Center, 655 West 34th Street, New York, NY 10001
Runners who wish to enter the contest will be asked to answer a simple question and complete an entry form at the Belfast Marathon stand at the NYC Marathon Expo. Winners will be notified by phone and e-mail on November 10, 2008.
