2009 conference in La Jolla to "chart" the course of the sport's direction
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - (November 6, 2008) - Running USA, a non-profit industry organization, has announced that Gen-A Media & Marketing has renewed its sponsorship of the Running USA Conference. The 2009 running industry conference, to be held February 8-10, returns to the spectacular Hilton at Torrey Pines in La Jolla, California.
"Gen-A is excited to continue our 6-year partnership with Running USA as a sponsor of the conference. Together, our goal has been to build the best Running conference in the U.S. So far, we have accomplished this, and we are motivated to help take the conference to the next level," said Doug Kaplan, publisher.
"Thanks to Gen-A's long-standing support, the Running USA Conference has grown and thrived, and partners such as Gen-A will ensure that this conference continues to be the "must attend" event for the sport," said Susan Weeks, Running USA CEO.
Last year, nearly 400 of the sport's leaders attended the popular event which featured outstanding keynote presentations, interactive breakout sessions, a Hall of Champions induction and live auction as well as networking opportunities. For 2009, the Running USA Conference theme is: "20 in 10: Charting the Course".
