Athletics: Racing Down the Las Vegas Strip

December 5, 2008 - (Las Vegas) From Team Global Action Nadezhda Tuptova is going to Las Vegas, not for the casinos but to race. Entering the Las Vegas Marathon, she will run down the world famous Las Vegas Strip and into the Fremont Street Experience.

Las Vegas is never short on excitement and this race will be no exception. Fifty couples will follow the “Running Reverend” Jaime Firzlaff for a run-through wedding ceremony. The runners are completing either the half or the full marathon while making or renewing their vows.

With rolling hills and a downhill sprint to the finish line, the race will be filled with thrills from musical groups to wild entertainment along the 26.2 miles. However Tuptova will not be distracted as she has one goal in mind, to win.
