This year’s Indoor Classic Vienna, scheduled for next Tuesday, February, 3, will feature a free live webcast.
Coverage from the Austrian capital begins at 6:15 p.m. Central European Time, or 12:15 p.m. eastern U.S., and can be viewed on the meet’s website at www.indoor-classic-vienna.com.
Some of the key entrants in the track events include Briton Ryan Scott and American Ernie Higgins in the men’s 60m; Ivet Lalova of Bulgaria and American Stephanie Durst in the women’s 60m; Kenyan Timothy Kiptanui in the 1500m; American Jamaal Torrence in the 400m; and Richard Hill of Great Britain and Antoine Martiak of France in the 800m.
On the infield, American Jeremy Scott leads a field of six with PBs of 5.50m [18-0 ½] or better in the pole vault. The men’s long jump includes Dane Morten Jensen while U.S. Olympian American Funmi Jimoh leads the women’s field. In all 315 athletes from 31 countries will be competing.
