Five Hall of Champions inductees, 400 plus attendees and Team Running USA enjoy 6th running industry conference
SAN DIEGO - (February 10, 2009) - The early inclement weather did not put a damper on the more than 400 people who attended the Running USA 2009 powered by The Active Network and Gen-A Media & Marketing on February 8-10 at the beautiful Hilton La Jolla, Torrey Pines, California. The largest running industry conference offered diverse and relevant topics and sessions such as the power of networking, sponsorship and marketing in today's economy, the value of social media, making your event green, successful youth running programs and the World Marathon Majors.
"The 6th edition of this conference, thanks to our generous sponsors, keynote speakers and panelists and attendees, was a success, and we hope that the attendees return home energized and inspired to further grow and improve the sport," said Susan Weeks, CEO of Running USA.
