(St. Paul, MN – 2/24/2009)–– "Best of the US" Management and DLT Events invite the triathletes of the Mid South Area to race at the 6th annual HIDDEN PARADISE SPRINT / BEST OF THE US LOUISIANA QUALIFIER at Lincoln Parish Park in Ruston on May 3. This is the fourth year that Hidden Paradise has hosted the Louisiana qualifier. Athletes will be treated to a flat and fast bike course as well as a fast and very scenic run course. Great post race activities, music, give-aways, food and awards. Come on down for a little Southern Hospitality, Cajun style…..
Louisiana has an abundance of talented amateur triathletes. Some of those that we hope to see at this sprint course event include Nicola Appleton, Linzie Hebert, Marie Claude Belanger, Kevin Cart, Tori Champagne, Bryan Coyne, Kristi Darby, John Deshotel, Brandon Guillory, two-time BOUS representative Ben Hall, 18, Andrew Kenworthy, Tara Lemoine, Brian Lejuene, Allison Moll, Brett Regan, Katie White (2008 BOU Representative) and Neill Rowland. Any male/female combination from this selection will give Louisiana a strong team presence at the Best of the US National Championship, hosted by the Orange County International Triathlon in Mission Viejo, California on September 27.
DLT Events invites the athletes of Louisiana to race in Ruston on May 3. Register soon, however, as the race is limited to 300 competitors.
