Athletics: Brannen, Christopher, Lincoln and Reed looking to blaze the track at Penn Relays

Wednesday, April 22, 2009 OTTAWA – Athletics Canada announced today the team that will compete at the 2009 Penn Relays in Philadelphia on April 25th.  Canada will have two entries in the men’s 4x100-metre relay, an entry in the women’s 4x400-metres and will also send a men’s distance medley relay team. A quartet of Canadian record holders will make up the men’s distance medley relay team with an eye on finishing first in Philadelphia.  Matthew Lincoln from Scarborough, ON, Tyler Christopher of Edmonton, AB, Gary Reed from Victoria, BC, and Nathan Brannen from Cambridge, ON will race the 1200m, 400m, 800m and 1600m legs respectively in an attempt to win it all in Philadelphia.
