Triathlon: Best Of The U.S. Race #40, Rattlesnake Triathlon - Sydney Cornell Repeats For Colorado

St. Paul, MN / August 17, 2009-- Second only to pro/Olympian Susan Williams, thirty-nine year old Sydney Cornell has earned a repeat trip back to the Best of the U.S. Championship with her race yesterday at Colorado's Rattlesnake Triathlon [www.rattlesnaketri.com.]. Seventeenth place overall at the 2008 BOUS Championship, Cornell is by all account having a great year. She was 8th woman overall at St. Anthony's in April and just qualified for Kona with a 4:55 8th place performance at Ironman 70.3 Steelhead on August 1. Boulder's Ed McDevitt took the BOUS title for Colorado men. McDevitt was 17th overall and winner of his 35-39 age division at Ironman Coeur d'Alene in June.
