The 12th Annual Canadian 113, and the 6th Annual Canadian 226 will take place on Saturday September 4, 2010, at beautiful Mooney's Bay Beach and the Terry Fox Athletic Facility. More than 1000 runners, walkers, triathletes, and duathletes will participate in pursuit of personal goals, while contributing to a number of community organizations.
The Canadian is a triathlon and duathlon day like no other, featuring Ontario's only Iron 226 Triathlon & Duathlon and a host of other events and relays, including:
- Full Iron 226 Triathlon, Duathlon, SwimCycle, and Swim
- Half Iron 113 Triathlon, Duathlon, SwimCycle, and Swim
- Sprint Triathlon & Duathlon
- Try A Tri
- Super Sprint Triathlon
- Canoe/Kayak Triathlon, and
- Wylie Ryan Kids' Surf and Turf.
ROAD CLOSURES
Please note the following road closures will be in place on Saturday, September 4 for the Canadian Iron 226 Triathlon:
- Colonel By Drive from the Department of National Defense to Hogsback Road will be closed to traffic on Saturday September 4, from 6:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
- Pretoria Bridge will be closed to vehicle traffic on Saturday September 4, from 6:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
- Hogsback Rd. will be closed from 6:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
- Hogsback Rd. from Riverside Dr. to Prince of Wales Dr.
