Triathlon: TriStar Nevis Triathlon Challenge and Rewards at Nisbet Plantation Beach Club

Athletes, professionals and first-timers, enjoy 40% savings

NEVIS, West Indies --- TriStar returns to the Caribbean island of Nevis in late March with a week of sporting events ending with the TriStar111 Triathlon, where some of the world's top athletes will compete for a $10,000 prize. Whether you're a professional athlete or want to "try-a-tri," the week is rewarding for those who rest up at Nisbet Plantation Beach Club.

Race participants who stay at the top Caribbean hotel will be rewarded with more than 40% savings with special nightly rates of $199 for a Superior Room or $249 in a Deluxe Garden Suite. The rate includes daily full-service breakfast and the official TriStar111 Pre-race Energy Party with carb-filled dinner, which is being hosted by Nisbet Plantation.

As an added challenge and reward, race guests who beat General Manager Jamie Holmes' time in the triathlon will receive a bottle of wine to enjoy with his compliments.

At Nisbet Plantation, you can focus on the race and leave the details to the care of the resort's attentive staff. Airport transfers, ground transportation, bike and gear rentals can be arranged in advance. After the race, relax with a soothing massage at The Palms Spa and lounge on the white sand beach.

This exciting week in paradise begins March 25 with the Nevis-St.Kitts cross-channel swim and concludes on March 31 with the TriStar111. There will also be two other triathlon formats, the TriStar11.1 and TriStar33.3, which are ideal for new triathletes and those in training.

The 36-square-mile island of Nevis is just a short water taxi ride away from sister-island St. Kitts. Direct flights into St. Kitts (SKB) are available from many gateway cities in the US, Canada and UK. Connecting flights into Nevis (NEV) are available from San Juan (SJU), St. Maarten (SXM) and Antigua (ANU).

For reservations, call toll-free at 1-800-742-6008 or speak to a travel agent. For more information, visit www.NisbetPlantation.com.
