November 29, 2008: Lanni Marchant placed 14th in today's Canadian XC Championships in Guelph, ON in a time of 26:59.8 for the 7K course. November 16, 2008: Lanni Marchant finished third in the Ontario Track and Field Cross Country Championships in Toronto in a time of 23:08 for the 6K course. November 15, 2008: Cynthia Wilson, a triathlete of the year, and Heather Thomson and Brian Doan, who have competed in 16 half-iron man triathlons were guests on the Running Show today.
November 9, 2008: Lanni Marchant has been selected to the Canadian team for the Chiba road race in Japan November 24th.

October 26, 2008: In this morning's Rattle Me Bones 5K in Ottawa, Lanni Marchant placed first female (and 4th overall) in 17:00 and Joscelyn Coolican ran 21:54. In the 10K, Michelle Schuler (4 months pregnant) ran 41:38 to place 2nd female and Lisa Steele ran 44:08.

October 19, 2008: In this morning's Toronto Marathon Liz Maguire finished second female and 1st Master (40-44) in 3:01:19.
October 18, 2008: Lanni Marchant placed third in the Canadian National 10K Road Race Championships in Ottawa this morning in a PB time of 34:56.1. October 12, 2008: Regine Ambroise was the first woman (and 7th overall) in the Fall Colours 5K in Cumberland this morning in a time of 19:21. October 11, 2008: Sheila Kealey was the first woman (and 6th overall) in 31:58.6 in the Beat Beethoven 8K in Ottawa.
October 9, 2008: Lanni Marchant won the Mustang Open XC meet in LOndon, ON in 14:18 for the 4K course. September 28, 2008: Beth Primrose ran 1:21:16 for the Scotiabank Waterfront Half-Marathon this mroning placing 4th female and 1st Master (45-49).
September 21, 2008: In this morning's Army Run 5K, Lanni Marchant was the top female in 17:22.4, Stephanie Smith was 9th in 19:40.0, Paula Hickman was 11th in 20:12.8, Melanie Patina was 16th in 20:40.2, Marie Jane Roberts was 22nd in 21:11.3 and Lisa Steele was 25th in 21:22.0.
The OAC was the top OVERALL team with a combined time of 57:17 for the top three scorers. Liz Maguire was the top female in the half-marathon in 1:22:19, Daniele Riendeau was 3rd in 1:23:43.9, Sara Domina was 11th in 1:32:23.9 and Annie Robitaille was 12th in 1:32:25.6. The OAC was the top women's team (and 3rd fastest overall) in 4:18:28.
In the Last Chance Sprint Triathlon, Cynthia WIlson was first female and second overall in a time of 1:11.44. September 14, 2008: Beth Primrose ran 1:21:14 for the Montreal Half-Marathon this morning placing second female and 1st master (45-49).

July 6, 2008: Cynthia Wilson won the Canadian Long Course Triathlon Championships in Osoyoos, BC this morning in a time of 4:40:33 for the 2K swim, 90K cycle and 21.2K run, winning by almost 16 minutes!. She placed 18th overall! June 22, 2008: A day after running a PB 5K in Emilie's Run, Cynthia Wilson journeyed to Smiths Falls and placed first woman and fifth overall in the Sprint Triathlon in 1:05:44. June 21, 2008: A big day for the OACRT at Emilie's Run, 17 out of the 38 sub 20:00 performances , four in the top ten, third overall and third Masters and we took the second and third place team awards.
June 15, 2008: In this morning's Do It For Dad 5K, Tracy Abarbanel ran a PB 20:52.1 to place second woman and first in her age-group.
June 14, 2008: In today's Riverkeeper Sprint Triathlon, Sheila Kealey finished second woman (and fourth overall) in 1:07:27, Melanie Patina was third in 1:11:57, Tifenn Vialatte was twelfth in 1:16:44. In the Olympic triathlon Keli Kavanagh was fourth in 2:27:51, Erin Morley was seventh in 2:31:12.

December 1, 2007: Lanni Marchant finished 21st at the Canadian Cross-Country Championships in Guelph, ON. The race was run on a snowy course with temperatures of -7 degrees and featured a very competitive field with Olympian Carmen Douma-Hussar winning.
November 20, 2008: Sheila Kealey was the winner of the 2007 Champions Challenge for Triathlon, a competitive program within Somersault's Eastern Triathlon Series.
November 18, 2007: Lanni Marchant won the Ontario Cross Country Championships run in Brockville this morning. Her time for the hilly 6K course was 21:36:42. September 9, 2007: In this morning's Gloucester Half Marathon, Chantal Gosselin was the first woman (and 8th overall) in 1:23:09 (PB). In the accompanying 5K, Carolyn Turner was the first woman in 18:18.7 (PB).

The previous record was 1:58:49 set by Diane Legare in 1994. Michelle Schuler ran 2:02:04 (10th female and 2nd age-group), Susanne Russell 2:03:15 (12th female and 2nd age-group). Robyn DiCesare ran 2:28:42 (21st Master), Jane Rutherford ran 2:30:51 and Melanie Patina ran 2:31:34. Tina Pippy (1:04:39) and Kerry Rocheleau (1:07:13) ran the two-person 30K relay and placed 2nd Open Female Team in 2:11:50.

May 19, 2003: Sheila Kealey won the Runner's Life Duathlon in Peterborough yesterday (and placed 8th overall!) in a time of 1:12:43 for the 5K/20K/5K course.

May 3, 2003: Joyce Burghardt won the Diefenbooker Classic 5K on Carp, Ontario this morning in a time of 19:43. April 27, 2003: In today's Physiotherapy Run, Joyce Burghardt was the first female and first Master (40+) in the 10K in 40:26.
April 22, 2003: In yesterday's Boston Marathon Robyn Di Cesare and Chantal Roberts ran 3:32:46 and 3:37:13 respectively. April 14, 2003: In yesterday's Run for Reach, Paula Hickman ran a PB 1:28:49 to win the Half-Marathon, Lisa Balerna was fourth in the 10K in 41:47 and Sheila Kealey and Ann Marie Foley were 5th and 6th in the 5K in 19:29 and 19:32 respectively. Ann Marie was the first Master. March 30, 2003: Robyn Di Cesare ran 2:13:11 in today's Around the Bay 30K race in Hamilton. She placed 275th our of 3,699 finishers and 5th in her age-group. March 15, 2003: Lisa Balerna was 5th female in this morning's St. Patrick's Day 5K in a time of 19:39. Chantal Roberts was 3rd female in the 10K in 41:12. March 10, 2003: Dennis Featherstone won two gold medals at the Canadian Masters Indoors in Toronto this weekend, winning the 1500M in 5:10 and the 3000M in 11:09. February 23, 2003: Stephanie Duffy and Robyn Di Cesare placed 1st and 3rd in today's Peterborough Half-Marathon in times of 1:37:22 and 1:41:13 respectively. February 16, 2003: a number of OAC Racing Team members demonstrated their multi-sport capabilities today as they competed in the Keskinada 50K Freestyle ski race.
Sheila Kealey placed 4th woman and 1st in her age-group in a time of 2:25:25 (65th overall out of 538); John Lewis finished in 2:57:57 (after losing his pole at the start -it got stepped on- and had to take off his skis
and run against a mass of approaching skiers to rescue it! Needless to say, this
got him off to a poor start that he didn't really recover from); Michelle Sears was 8th in her age-group and 20th woman in 3:03:04.
February 2, 2003: Sheila Kealey repeated as the top female in the Winterlude Triathlon in a time of 58:23, placing 16th overall! Amanda Shaw was 3rd in 1:03:42. Michelle Sears finished first in her age-group in 1:08:13. Robyn Dicesare was 6th in her age-group in 1:10:14. January 20, 2003: Three OACers competed in the Richmond Road Races yesterday. Amanda Shaw was 4th in the 5K in 20:20. Chantal Roberts placed 5th in the 10K in 42:13 and Robyn Di Cesare was 7th in 42:57. January 16, 2003: Coach Ken Parker received the Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal at a ceremony at the Congress Center on January 18, 2003.
2002: December 5, 2002: Lisa Balerna and Amanda Shaw placed 1-2 in the 2002 Somersault Duathlon Series Rankings with 39 and 36 points respectively. November 26, 2002: Sheila Kealey won Ottawa Bike Club's Best All Rounder   trophy (this year's best 15k and best 40k time trials combined time).
